I can scan from the flat screen no problem.
I have run Windows printer troubleshooting and there is no problem detected in ANY of the settings.
I've looked at all my "set up" settings and they all seem to be correct, but because I am starting up a print business, I can't have this problem.
Can asnyone help ? Thanks
Google seems to think blocked printer nozzles are the most common reason, even though it’s happened on two machines now. Have you tried any cleaning/diagnostic stuff?
Sounds like Joe Biden’s mind right before he starts talking.
October 16th there was a windows update that caused all kinds of issues with the printer spooler. Most cases, if you were part of the lucky few hit by the glitch, printers just stopped working. There are all kinds of patches and tech notes you can spend days on trying to fix it. You’ll get it all sorted out then 3 weeks later the problem returns. The only long term solution is backup you data, download the latest version of Windows 10 and re-install the OS.
Only a guess, check to see if it has a couple of print jobs alreary spooled and clear that. Could be left over jobs from a previous printer, uninstall any left over drivers. Might need to boot into Safe Mode to get yhem all, sometimes windows does not show duplicates except in safe mode.
Always uninstall old printers before installing a new one. If you have to, uninstall ALL printers then start over.
Your computer is sending extra page feeds in between pages, printer driver or printer driver settings. It isn’t your printer.
Have you tried resetting the calibrator?
Can you print ok from other device like your phone?
What does print preview look like?
Call Kim Komando today. Her radio show starts in a few hours and....a big advertiser is your printer manufacturer. I’ve called a few times and always get through on the first time! If the Digital Goddess doesn’t know, nobody knows.
C’mon, man. Free paper.
Over the long haul, color laser is probably cheaper to operate. Brother makes a very good one. It stands up to the endless printing of a long lost descendant of Guttenberg. My print addicted spouse.
Another meaningless opinion.
If you get the same problem when printing from friend's computer, problem is on your printer.
You could type a short paragraph in a new doc, print. Do you get blank pages? If so Backspace from the middle of the doc to the beginning, being sure you deleted everything to the beginning. Save -> print again. Still get it?
I think you said it's images that are doing it - is a short, say, notepad document doing it?
Do three different applications all do the same thing?
In other words, try a bunch of different stuff. If it never behaves differently, it's the printer or your print driver.
You could also try downloading and installing a new version of the driver.
But try a bunch of different stuff before you even try to fix ... all the little experiments will logically point to where the problem is, then you at least know where you have to fix something.
First thing I'd do is hook my friends computer (or another in the house) and attempt to print the same document that's NOT printing from your desktop.
It’s an “Oh am I suppose to print” printer
Yes, I see the problem, you are using Windows.
Unfortunate. You will be an unpaid tech person for as long as you continue to accept that prison sentence.
There are substitutes, once you flee the MSFT plantation.
Get a Wuflu vaccine before you leave.
Sometimes my chicken cackles but hasn’t laid an egg. It happens.
My dot-matrix printer works fine.
Can you get a “preview” of your print job before actually printing? Do the 50 pages show up as part of the print job?
