I’m certainly not going shopping tomorrow. The stores will be lousy with Mother’s Day shoppers. Gonna do it before work Monday.
One of the impacts of the virus is that many people will not see mom and many moms will not see their kids this Mother’s Day. I know early this week when I ordered flowers to send to my mom and MIL, many flower shops were booked up, some with no deliveries as far out as the 15th. Many people who would normally be visiting will not be this year.
My daughter will be working a drive through test site on Mother’s day, so we will not be getting together as usual.
Early morning on a weekday is a very good plan.
I have been doing the Walmart senior hour (every Tuesday at 6AM). The store is empty, decently stocked, and the workers are very friendly (N CT).
