One of the impacts of the virus is that many people will not see mom and many moms will not see their kids this Mother’s Day. I know early this week when I ordered flowers to send to my mom and MIL, many flower shops were booked up, some with no deliveries as far out as the 15th. Many people who would normally be visiting will not be this year.
My daughter will be working a drive through test site on Mother’s day, so we will not be getting together as usual.
They or their moms may not have lived to see this Mother’s Day. Especially if mom was in one of those nursing homes.
