At least 3 children with coronavirus at LA hospital develop rare inflammatory condition possibly linked to COVID-19
By Madeline Farber | Fox News
Some patients at a California childrens hospital have developed a rare inflammatory condition possibly linked to the novel coronavirus. The condition has also been reported in recent weeks in pediatric coronavirus cases in New York and the United Kingdom.
At least three patients at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles displayed signs of the pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome, or PIMS, which doctors have said is similar to Kawasaki disease, or a condition that causes swelling in medium-sized arteries throughout the body. Kawasaki disease, which primarily affects children and has less than 6,000 diagnosed cases in the U.S. each year, often leads to inflammation in the coronary arteries, according to the Mayo Clinic.

The condition is rare but has been seen in seven states, including Washington state.
We assumed our son had allergies because he had a little bit of itchy eyes and you know, just felt a little punky, said Theresa Lawson.
Her 13-year-old son Anthony started feeling sick a week ago with itchy eyes, a low-grade fever, dizziness, a headache and a rash.
He tested negative for the coronavirus at urgent care and told it was probably an allergic reaction.
But his symptoms went from mild to deadly in a matter of days.
He was now having problem breathing, we couldnt get any kind of oxygen reading on him. His lips had turned bright red, his eyes, all the whites of his eyes were solid red. His fingernails started to turn blue, Lawson said.
Both the @US_FDA director, Stephen Hahn MD and the
@CDCgov director Robert Redfield MD are quarantining after exposure at the White House to a person who tested postive for #Covid_19

this is crazy how all of a sudden the virus is sweeping through the WH...now fauci has to self quarantine..lol
I really didnt like when weeks ago Birx said she had a fever over the weekend but because she tested negative it was okay to be around Trump...like she didnt know you could test negative and still shed the virus
fauci could have it..not test positive yet..and spread it to Congress.
They are going to be freaking out they will catch it. LOL

The D or L plane polarized behavior can only be determined my measurement. This may be complicated by racemization where a mix of both D and L are present.
O-chem was one of my favorite classes on the pre-med track. Easy A in lab and lecture.
Things are looking up. Saw a lot of traffic yesterday. If we work smart, the customers will keep coming.

Many herbs and spices Americans use can be grown in your own backyard.
Garlic is ridiculously easy.
Sage, oregano, and thyme are all perennials.
Parsley is a biennial so you can save the seeds from that.
Rosemary is a perennial in some climates but can be brought indoors in the north.
Basil is also easy and the seeds can be saved.
Stuff like cinnamon and nutmeg, well, just have to be bought and stored. However, whole nutmeg will keep better , you just need a grinder.
Vanilla is problematic.
I put any herbs I grow in a canning jar in the freezer. They keep far better that way.
I was considering doing the BJ’s senior hour at a local store and my son told me not to. According to the local community chat room, the place is PACKED for that hour.
He said to go later. I did and it wasn’t all that crowded.
I buy powdered vanilla - keeps a long time
Never heard of that.
Is that natural vanilla or artificial?
They or their moms may not have lived to see this Mother’s Day. Especially if mom was in one of those nursing homes.
