Going to bed in the buff has more perks than you might think. These research-backed benefits will have you ditching the dowdy flannels and sleeping naked tonight.
Sleeping naked could improve your sleep quality
People may sleep better in cooler temps than warmer ones. Why? Your natural body temperature naturally declines as you sleep, says Christine Hansen, certified sleep coach, member of the National Sleep Foundation, and founder of Sleep Like a Boss. As your body temperature declines, your cortisol levels go down and your melatonin levels go up. Thats why when its too hot, you feel nervous and jumpy and cant sleep, Hansen says. Because wearing PJs or sleeping under heavy covers can disrupt your bodys natural cool-down, it can, in turn, disrupt the quality of your sleep. However, you dont want to be too cold either: If youre so cold that youre shivering, youre probably not sleeping deeply. While theres no one perfect temperature for good shut-eye, the National Sleep Foundation recommends setting your thermostat between 60 and 67 degreesbut if youre sleeping nude and waking up shivering, feel free to turn it up. That cooler sleeping temperature offers other nice benefits, as well.

Me too. I always figure we will have a tornado or the house will catch on fire.

Sleeping in the buff would be LESS expensive in FL in summer, not more.

I haven't owned a pair of pyjamas or slept in underwear since I was a teenager.
I also take a shower after every defecation.
I am always squeaky clean, hygienic, and ready for love!

I’ve had quite a few bad dreams about that very thing, except in my case, it’s a tornado.

Those sound like good habits, although you can skip the shower if you have one of those water squirting toilet seats.
My oldest grandson was an early potty trainer, learning to walk and to go about the same time because he HATED dirty diapers. He'd take off everything from the waist down before doing #2, sometimes even for a #1.
His parents taught him to be wary of strangers so, if nature called outside the home, he'd pull me into the restroom and make me wait outside the stall door. He loves Grandpa, but draws a clear line with privacy.

That is my mindset as well!! LOL! I’m pretty isolated where I live though. I used to keep an emergency bag of clothes in my basement, just in case. I probably need to clean out some drawers and update that bag.

No wonder Pres. Trump said what he did, when rumored to have been confronted by an irate leftist, enumerating myriad faults, and ending with, “How do you SLEEP at night?!” To which POTUS reportedly replied, “Naked; with a Super Model!” Could that be why he’s so healthy?

I walked in on a very uncomfortable employee lounge conversation where several women were discussing the benefits of airing out the lady parts. It's a reason why women wore skirts and dresses. Underwear optional.
