Don't miss the last full supermoon of 2020, a 'flower moon,' on May 7

Big, bright and beautiful.

Take note, supermoon fans. This week marks your last shot to bathe in the glory of a full supermoon in 2020. The morning of Thursday, May 7, marks the peak of the "super flower moon."

We've been on a run since February of extra-large full moons known as "supermoons." The term "supermoon" can refer to either a new or a full moon that happens at or near perigee syzygy, a mouthful that means the moon is at the closest point to Earth along its orbit around our planet.

Have an armadillo that has been landscaping our yard at night. On my nightly checks last night, did not even have to use rifle mounted light to see crosshairs with. Really bright

I hate the $#$%&$@ supermoon. The local radio station mentions it at every newsbreak. It is not that big of deal. The moon is a little larger and brighter a couple of times per year, but most people don't have the sight memory to notice without being told. The only thing missing is Hallmark telling me that I must send cards and flowers to celebrate it.

That’s nice - where is it from?

Got to see this “flower moon” supermoon this morning. Sky’s crispy clear and the moon was intense.
