OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) - A 68-year-old man from Genessee County has been charged with assault and battery of a Dollar Tree employee after he wiped his face on her shirt when she said he needed to wear a mask inside the store.

Assault and battery?
Gross, disgusting, uncalled for. But assault and battery level? I think there’s a better misdemeanor somewhere.
Debate the idea of the state demanding masks all you want. You want a protest against the unconstitutional actions of Nazi-like authoritarians? I’ll be there.
But the simple fact was this was a store policy and the idiot man acted like a fool.
I’d give him 100 hours of community service.
Assault is verbal, battery is physical.
So he might have got into an argument with her, and then wiped his nose on her.
He would have become horizontal if he tried that with me. If he did not like the store requirements, then he could have left. Not that I agree with the face mask thing.

It’s an offense against a person. If I were the judge, I’d give him twenty lashes and make him buy dinner for all employees on duty at the time.

Whether or not you agree with the government policy, it is LOW RENT to take it out on a store clerk.
