Mine tried to take out the Mercedes Four year old taking advantage of mom on the phone. Never took my eye off. Triple major. Big time grad school. Independence is a good thing So is parenting. This kid eats whatever he wants whenever he wants. Thats a problem that hints at many more. Well... like taking the car for a spin.

I would definitely be interested in hiring this kid in about 15 years. Hard to find that kind of go-getter attitude anymore.
To: nickcarraway
Kid should have realized that he'd have gotten better price deal if he had headed for somewhere in the East or South...
Clearly the parents have neglected his education...

I like that kid. He's got gumption, more even than Captain Kirk. He's only five years old, for crying out loud! And he's real. Give him his own starship.
To: nickcarraway
Not bad enough, the parents left the kid with one of his siblings and took off leaving him in Utah, so he decided to steal their car or someone’s else’s car.

So the parents don’t watch him to the degree he takes off in a car and let him become obese, setting up a lifetime of misery. Nice. Might need some intervention.

This is one 5 year old I would not want for a neighbor kid.
When he steals his next car, he’ll fit right into CA.

... left him in the care of a sibling.
The use of the word care here is loose.

At 5 years old, I didn’t even know what a Lamborghini was.
Of course, maybe none existed back in the late 1950’s.
Driving off in my Dad’s Ford, would never have entered my mind then. For one thing, I would have gotten a ‘whoppin’ with a long thin stick called ‘a switch’.

When he finally goes back to school, this story will make him
famous. “Yes, it DID happen. Honest!”
