Images captured on cameras being used for film shoot in thinly populated area of Galicia

A brown bear has been spotted traversing a rugged and sparsely populated area of north-west Spain for the first time in 150 years thanks to a set of camera traps and a bit of luck.
Images of the animal were captured on cameras set up by a crew shooting the film Montaña ou Morte (Mountain or Death) in the Invernadeiro national park in Galicias Ourense province.
Although the area is home to wolves, deer and wild boars, this is believed to be the first time a brown bear has been seen in more than a century.
The bear, a male aged between three and five, is the first to be filmed in the area and probably the first to have crossed through the region in the past 150 years, the production company Zeitun Films said in a statement.

The stay at home order doesn't apply to him. Sad if he's the only one there since I presume he's looking for companionship.
If it’s a sparkly attended by humans area then there may be other bears there.

He sure has the social distancing down pat.

Without a doubt. A year or so ago I was told by a local that there were black bears in a park in NE Portugal. Not far away. They were restocking them after a couple century absence.
Bears are kind of like mice but not as bad as roaches.
Since it is a sparsely settled area there could be a thriving population of brown bears there. While bears aren’t herd animals they don’t stray too far from others of their kind.

Do not google "Latino bears" looking for funny pictures. It's not what you would expect.

Can you do a DNA test on him to see if he’s the papa of the bears roaming the streets and alleys in my Eureka neighborhood ...

Cuddly indeed. Expect deaths out there - hikers, etc. I hope they dont get onto the Camino De Santiago.
He appears to be posing for the camera.
Heck, we had a small one wander through our inner-ring Atlanta suburb a few years ago. Tons of them in the state.
I hope you didn’t have Safe Search turned off. Even with it on, I doubt I’d want to see the results of that.
Black bear, obviously. And I doubt the bear in this story is what we think of as a brown bear in North America, AKA a grizzly.
