And if that data is true, what does it indicate in summary?

Very interesting. Source of data?

Point? Rural counties that have high incidence.

What is the origin of the workers in the processing facilities?

Now I see why pork processing facilities are shutting down.

Correctional facilities? Far too many have been released. We already see a local spike in thefts.

Nursing homes and care homes are also very important cause of pockets of infection.

ComDems are trying to avoid their complicity.

Covid19 deaths in Nursing homes:

New York 3,043 (17%) (Note, packed number of cases by adding non-Covid19 deaths as Covid19, without testing)
Pennsylvania (65%)
New Jersey 3,200 (40%)
Delaware (58%)
Maryland (46%)

The issue is a large number of people working closely together. In Cass county once it started it spread rapidly. But it did not start there until April. It jumped from to 300 then 1500 in days. It was in the 30 range in the county until then.

data sources - census.gov and JHU covid daily reports

Don’t know. That’s why I posted it here. You got any ideas?

I find it interesting the numbers associated with meat processing plants. Cold, closed environment maybe?

Yes. I can see that is a danger.

Right now the flue (virus) season is coming to a end. I suspect it will dampen the growth as temperatures get over 95 degrees. In those areas where people get outside for long periods of the day.

In big cities where they seldom leave air conditioning, it will continue to be a problem for a while.

I wonder how long the virus can live on meat. Certainly cooking it would kill it, but can the meat the workers are handling be contributory to the spread?

Very interesting exploration (it would have helped if you had written an introduction about what you were exploring).

You could extend this in a couple of directions with additional hotspot root causes:
1. Ski resorts where the rich fly in and leave (Blaine County, Idaho - Sun Valley; Vail & Aspen).
2. State capitol cities with preponderance of Democrats.

I’ve read that people are shoulder-to-shoulder in meat processing plants. No idea if that is true. There has been a lot of research about the effect of temperature and humidity on the spread of viruses. Absolute humidity (not relative humidity) apparently has a lot to do with transmissibility. I imagine humidity levels in meat processing plants are very high.

Also no sunlight. It’s well known Vitamin D is produced naturally by the skin exposed to sunlight. Not much sunlight in meat processing plants — nor in any indoors setting, for that matter. People just don’t get a lot of sunlight in winter, especially in middle and northern latitudes.

Nursing Homes are a big factor in a county having a large number of cases.

I don’t know why meat packing plants are particularly bad, relative to other warehouse situations. maybe they are kept really cold? Maybe they have a lot of people who don’t follow simple protocols like keeping apart and washing hands?

I read that a lot of these are not spread at the plant, but in the workdforce housing, were they all hang out together.

“Cases” is misdirection by those seeking to control us.

The test studies done in various towns/cities has revealed that viral exposure is FAR more widespread.

The ONLY metric with any validity is deaths/million, but even that is misleading unless broken down by demographics:

The death rate/million for Americans under 50 is estimated to be about .001% for Wuhan Coronavirus exposure, but you won’t hear that promulgated by criminals Fauci & Birx.

The odds of dying from CHY-na Flu this year are 1-in-10,000.

In contrast, the odds of dying in a car crash this year are between 1-in-4000 & 1-in-8000. The odds vary so greatly because it’s dependent upon so many factors.

Gotta love numbers: “Lies, damned lies and Statistics!” /s

I understand and appreciate your your position but in this instance, cases per 1000 was used simply as a common denominator to illustrate that only 23 counties out of over 3000 had a reported case rate above 1.59% by population and to further illustrate that the majority of these 23 counties have other extenuating circumstances that may point to the reason for the higher rate.

I get it, but you’re using manipulative figures: “Cases” do not include asymptomatic and is weighted on factors which are unknown. At one time many ‘cases’ were “presumed positive” and counted.

The numbers mean absolutely nothing for even comparison. imho

Truth-be-told, death figures are fast becoming as-manipulated, but it’s a more accurate assessment barring serum tests for 100% of the population.
