Tara Reid of American Pie and Sharknado fame has found herself getting mistaken for Joe Biden accuser Tara Reade.
Reid, 44, told the New York Post she had been on the business end of threats and trolling meant for Reade and wants the Internet to know: “You’ve got the wrong Tara!”
Reade has accused presidential candidate Biden of pinning her to a wall and digitally penetrating her against her will in 1993, when he was in the Senate and she was one of his staff assistants — an allegation he denied on Morning Joe this Friday.
“It’s so crazy. I looked at my Twitter and people were telling me: ‘You’re a wrong, bad person!’ I was like: ‘Who did what to who? You’ve lost your mind,’” said Reid. “I was like, no way — it’s not me! You’ve got the wrong Tara! Are people that stupid? I mean, c’mon….I’ve done a lot over the years, but not this.”
She explained: “I don’t know Joe Biden. I know about him but I’m not into politics at all. What is going on? The wrong person to bring into politics is me.” …

She doesn’t seem to be the type that’s taking real good care of herself. She was last in the news because she was getting turned away from LA clubs as a 40 year old (and I find it disturbing that I know that). Two words, Tara: AGE APPROPRIATE.

Maybe she just wants it to stop. No judgment on whatever the h___ is going on, she just doesn't want to get dragged into it. I suspect most people in the country really don't give a ____ about all the political infighting. They just want to be left alone by people who engage in it.

I think you’re mostly right. I’m a fan of the Sharknado franchise and the other SyFy cheese-fest creature features that draw out of circulation actors back in for a quick name pop... so I may have a little more exposure to Tara Reid than the average Freeper, and I’ve seen her as someone who has an idea about where her market and brand have landed her in life and she’s grinding it out to make the most of it.
Making a dumb political statement as a celebrity is one thing when you initiate it. Gaining enemies by getting pulled into a political mudfight because dumb people can’t spell your name right is totally different.
I understand she just wants to stay back on the sidelines and figure out how to get cast as the female lead in “bearcano”, but it doesn’t mean she has to pretend to be stupider than she actually is.
On, Twitter? Yes, they’re that stupid.
OTOH, at least during a Biden presidency, men will be allowed to be Chauvinist pigs again and the women will have nothing to say about it. They all voted for the guy.

I( hope Tara Ried like Drew Barrymore has fixed her life after some wild years. Seems like she disappeared since 2009. Only thing she became known for after that was Sharknado movies but they ended 5 years ago.

One thing Tara Reid is known for is her infamous wardrobe malfunction in 2004 at some red carpet event. She had no clue (yeah, right) she was walking around exposed when her dress strap allegedly slipped. This was after the infamous Janet Jackson Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction.(Gee, I wonder if Tara did this on purpose for some attention?)

I’m not a woman but I’d think you’d have to be pretty damned drunk or high to have one breast covered and one exposed to the outside air and not know it.
