When you think how much the original art of Pompeii disintegrated with the weather and the removal of art, it's rather amazing to see these early watercolors of what Pompeii looked like at the end of the 19th century.
The Alias video is among my absolute favorite videos.

Beautiful! Seeing Pompeii was such a thrill for my wife and I. This really is a lovely ode that captures a lot of the overwhelming feeling we felt.
We covered a lot of ground, and were really enjoying every moment, taking in the sights of the great ruins, the murals, mosaics and artwork.
Right up until we found the display of the bodies. Then we came down from our high. It was not longer a museum. We were walking in a tomb.
A very somber moment. Still a treasured memory.

It’s probably obvious, but I do have ping lists.
One is for art music videos.
One is for any music video.
Just ask if you’d like to be on either/or.

I might be able to paint the sky in watercolors. But that’s as far as it would go. The rest would look like someone spilled the rinse water on the paper. <p.
I prefer acrylics. And I suck only slightly less with them.

Another amazing video! Thank you so much! Loved it!
There was one about halfway through that reminded me of Michelangelo’s David statue.

Wow, what a master of a very difficult medium! In watercolor, you can’t paint over your mistakes.
