I've been having thoughts about this part since I read it.

Q just told the heathens that they have a weevil in the high cotton. And that they missed some in the Hillary purge.

Why?

To get them scrambling? To increase their panic? To see their reaction and gain further intel? A bluff?

He also told them we can pick up their signal, which they probly already knew, but now they know we still can despite their defensive measures.

There is a reason.

This game is deep. Lots of head games.

I'm glad you highlighted this rather enigmatic section.

My initial reaction is that the most obvious reason to alert them to this is to put them on notice not to try "Step 2" of their bioweapon attack, because we have the goods on them and will make it public to the world and then declare war.

Things like this have consequences. Chiner will now go on a frenetic search to find the spies and double agent(s). Can’t imagine they would publish that if we still had vulnerable agents. If we were at war we would LOVE to publish something that got all their spooks runnin’ around cappin’ one another ‘n this ‘n that. And whatnot.
