The longtime CNN host announced the birth of baby son Wyatt Morgan Cooper via surrogate on Thursday night as he posted a photo on Instagram: “As a gay kid, I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I’m grateful for all those who have paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son’s birth.”

Some surrogates seem aware of what they’re being paid for and just like the idea of growing a healthy baby inside.
Some other surrogates know all that, but at the moment of birth, something happens. The birth mom develops an attachment to her new-born. A very strong Mother-&Child bond she did not expect.
I have heard of a few who take it one step further, and decide they have ‘changed their mind’, and want to keep the baby for their own family. Contractual Agreements be damned.
