The Chinese have an issue with IFITM3. If some Evil empire wanted to develop a bioweapon to target the Chinese they might look to that.

Chinese might worry about that and do experiments with Bats and IFITM3 for whatever reason. They have done studies with bats and pigs and IFITM3.

The US is seeing a lot of deaths but not like China...for a variety of reasons.

None of this is very helpful to determine what to do if your IfITM3 has been monkeyed around with by the virus.\\\
