Contact Tracers, who can be trained to do this work. The main goal is to track people who were positive. They discusses building a national corps of tracers.

There should be a followup the 2020 Census in 2021 -- were you diagnosed with COVID-19 by a doctor? Were you treated successfully for COVID19 by a doctor or other health care professional? Did the diagnosis hold up, or was it later debunked?
