A tenured professor at Rutgers University has slammed President Donald Trump for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic and its disproportionate affect on black people across the country, calling his response a '***********.' [ed] Brittany Cooper, a professor in the school's Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, took to Twitter on Tuesday to lambast Trump and his supporters, who she declared were 'willing to die' for him. Cooper, author of the 'Eloquent Rage: A Black Feminist Discovers Her Superpower,' began her Tuesday thread by asserting that most black people did not want the country to reopen and understood to do so would mean more death of black bodies.

The prevalence of high blood pressure (HBP or hypertension) in African-Americans in the United States is among the highest in the world. More than 40 percent of non-Hispanic African-American men and women have high blood pressure.

African American adults are 60 percent more likely than non-Hispanic white adults to have been diagnosed with diabetes by a physician.

Although African Americans usually smoke fewer cigarettes and start smoking cigarettes at an older age, they are more likely to die from smoking-related diseases than Whites.

Although researchers aren’t sure why, evidence shows that African Americans have a 30 percent greater chance of dying from heart disease than Caucasian Americans.

Any college course or degree that ends in the word “studies” is a total waste of time an money.
