Depends on where you are from.

Where I grew up, most definitely vans and trucks were distinct and truck was simply a short form of pickuptruck.

However, I’ve moved to rural eastern Ontario, and trucks are a genus into which both pickups and vans are placed.

Why would they take more than their facility holds? When we’re talking Brooklyn there could be an angle. I work with a guy who organizes monument inscriptions for scores of funeral homes in the NY metro and he said last week that some of them have 30 bodies stored in the buildings and were turning away requests.
