In the early stages, people with dementia can have spells of complete normality. Biden might like to use mental/physical decline as an excuse to evade criminal culpability (like his fellow rapist Harvey Weinstein), but no one running for President is going to pretend to the public that they are demented. It would pass muster with many Democrats, but independent voters would care. Joe Biden believes he can get away with anything — that’s why Obama was trying to warn him off.

I Believe Biden is Faking Senility
Talk about a huge case of spin and wishing PU.
He has had TWO frontal lobe brain surgeries.
I had the same thought about him faking but I saw a recent pic and saw that ‘lost’ look in his eyes that old people get when they’re losing their faculties. He wasn’t quite in this world in the pic.
Now I’m torn. Part of my wants to feel bad for his condition while another part of me is pissed that he’ll never be held accountable in the slightest, whether it be Tara Reade or Ukraine/China, because of his condition.
He’s not senile, he’s just a dumbass; that he’s NOT faking and never was.
Fascinating theory! Dementia may render Biden unfit to defend legal charges. Still, his eyes reflect the vacancy of dementia. That is hard to fake.
A few problems with your theory:
1) Biden has been a shameless self-promoter and leaker throughout his career. If this were a strategy of his, we would see news stories about it all over the place, not just in right-leaning online forums. The silence from the news is a huge tell that this isn’t planned.
2) Biden has never been particularly good at anything requiring deep thought, and he’s a terrible political strategist. He has always taken simplistic tacks against complex problems and all of his prior national level campaigns have flopped because he’s not good at finding staff that can organize or fundraiser at the national level. For this to be a strategy of subterfuge, he would have to have the capability to plan subterfuge.
3) He hasn’t stopped at a reasonable level of demented. Challenging a voter to a push up contest, calling another young lady a dog faced pony soldier, blathering and even misreading cue cards, falling asleep in the middle of an endorsement, all of it is too over the top, too persistent and too consistent to be believable as a farce.
4) As a lawyer and long time politician, he would know that if his ties to China or his son’s dalliances ever hit the court or the media, he could easily pretend not to know stuff without acting demented.
Regardless, do the powers that be in the democrat party have a plan to deal with Biden’s diminishing mental capacity if he should win or if he doesn’t make it to November? Absolutely!
Having had two family members whose circulatory impairments led to cognitive decline, I’ve learned that a snapshot in time doesn’t tell the whole story. Dementia sufferers can present very differently during the course of a day. Late in the day is often worst (sundowning). We found that drinking fluids and walking helped. I think it was partly due to increasing oxygen to the brain. The deteriorated blood vessels didn’t supply the brain well, but by pumping up volume and blood pressure we were able to get a little more oxygen through. I wouldn’t assume he’s faking it just because he’s inconsistent. I’d be more suspicious if he weren’t.

You are positing a tired old theory. But now that COVID 19 has replaced any and all past Biden scams and crooked dealings - no one cares about his past activity.
Therefore he has no reason to fake senility now.
Face it. The man is truly mentally past it.
