It's a lesson in the nature of power.
"Warm in their seats, they were loathe to leave them." - John Adams
The point of the lockdown was to ensure the hospital system didn’t get overloaded with too many patients at once.
Once we can be confident of that, then it’s time to reopen.
And it's happening. Doesn't ANYONE on this forum actually pay attention to NEWS anymore or do they just post moronic comments?? And no, I don't mean CNN or MSN, I mean LOCAL news. I'm in Texas and the plans for reopening are outlined in the local news EVERY NIGHT.
You don’t want to be in NJ’s situation, and yet it isn’t impossible that Virginia could eventually be, certainly the urban parts. But even little towns in rural Georgia have had bad outbreaks.
In a year’s time, we will all know which way it played out.
Spread your BS and fear somewhere else. Fearpers suck. G away. Say hello to your mother. Maybe she has some common sense....
On the other hand, since the way most everyone selects, applies, wears and maintains their mask does little to prevent infection, they are in fact being "socially responsible" by contributing to the natural immunity process typical of most respiratory viruses, although I'm certain they have no awareness of doing so.
But I suppose by participating in the current, hopefully short-lived mask-wearing fad they "feel safe" and, as important, feel like they're "doing something" in the "war" on the Chinese Virus. Cheers! & regards
I read just this week that our use of virtually every mask type insures only 2% will be effective. Actually, the mask insures that we are still under the hand of the elite...all of us, no matter what. It is the most ineffective anti-virus method we have used. I just laugh when I see so many of us with “masks”. ...yet where I live not to wear one is a jailable offense,..hat might be cheaper than wearing the mask.
