Goodell has voluntarily reduced his salary to $0 for an undefined period of time.
How big of a Democrat Stimulus check did he receive?

I would presume these would be employees of the NFL offices themselves and not those of the individual teams whose pay would be determined by the individual teams. Also note this will unlikely affect players unless the work stoppage reaches into the training camp period.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers, I’m told, received a $4 million small business loan. :?

$5 mil in base salary. But when the finances get rolled they usually bonus him up to $40 mil.

Good idea..since they are unimportant. Critical are truck drivers and grocery store clerks.

Looks like Goodell might be taking my suggestion after all.

What exactly are these people unable to do? It is the off-season. Goodell is playing politics.

And he’s still overpaid.

I sure do, but I am over 40. It NEVER ed properly. Some version even pretended to have a passing option. The odds of THAT working (outside of the commercial) bout the same odds of me hitting Powerball on one try.

Yep. Mine never worked either. When I turned it on, some players would vibrate in place. The rest would vibrate over to the sidelines. Didnt get much downfield action.
I guess the players just werent motivated.

Low salaries before real free agency.

What exactly are these people unable to do? It is the off-season. Goodell is playing politics. My nephew works for the NFL. According to him, the NFL employs about 300 people. Those people work year-round. There is a lot to do even during the non-season. I haven't yet found out whether he survived the furlough, but I doubt he did.

Some version even pretended to have a passing option. I remember that. Put a little piece of felt in the quarterback's hand. It was an incredibly stupid toy, but somehow I loved it for a brief period during my yute. The kids these days don't know how good they have it.
