I would think the IDF would roll out some Mirage IIIs or those widow maker Czech made BF 109s.
They wanted old prop planes, the sort they used to throw seltzer bottles out of in 1948. Or that’s how it looks, at least.
They fly them all for this.
Those are the same planes all of our Navy and Air Force pilots use for their undergraduate pilot training. We call them the T-6A Texan II, a US built variant of the Swiss Pilatus PC-9.
