(WBTW) South Carolinas Social Distancing score has dropped to an F, according to Unacast.
South Carolina reportedly has a D in reducing mobility, an F in there being less than 55 percent in non-essential visits, and an F in having less than a 40% decrease in encounters compared to the nationwide rate.
Anderson, Cherokee, Greenwood, Pickens and Spartanburg counties all received F grades. Greenville, Laurens, Oconee and Union counties received D grades. Click here to see the grad for each county.
Unacast uses geospatial human mobility insights to show the change in non-essential visits made and average mobility (based on distance traveled) throughout the area before and during the outbreak.
Unacast compares this data to other parts of the country and considers the amount of positive COVID-19 cases that area has when determining a grade.
South Carolina is the only state in the country to receive an F grade
Good. We - my husband and I and six of our children - are going to South Carolina next week.
Welcome to SC.
Friday, I plan a long overdue trip to the border of NC to visit some family.
Phones got too close?
Who’s keeping social credit scores, a Chicom owned company?
I always like South Carolina. Maybe I should move there, that is my kind of people.
Yesterday, I was at the UPS Store waiting outside as per the sign with a seasoned citizen. We both lamented the conning of America.
A younger woman came out, wearing a mask and politely spouted the social distancing tripe.
I shook my head.
We’ll be camping at a State Park.
Things are pretty relaxed here in NC, outside “downtown” areas or self-important suburbs. We played miniature golf last night: it was open because it qualifies as a “golf course.” The business also sells ice cream. There was a paper sign saying, “Please eat your ice cream outside, so we can say it’s ‘takeout’!”
An elderly man on a motorcart at Walmart the other day said someone had berated him for going the wrong way on a “one-way” aisle. Sure enough, they did have arrows on the floor telling us which way to go.
Yay. That’s my state, South Carolina. We know it’s all a crock of spit
So, are South Carolinians dropping like flies?
Are South Carolinas Hospitals jammed to the rafters with COVID-19 dead and dying? Are they stacking bodies like cord wood?
Have the South Carolinian undertakers running out of coffins?
All of the above were true during the 1918 flu pandemic.
What did its economic grade go to?
Unacast is a privately held company. Other than the name of the CEO, I can find out very little about it.
Seems like a huge red flag to me.
Many of my friends have moved there in the last 10 years. I am increasingly jealous.
If you go to the article and look at the map by state, the “B” and “C” states mostly voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016, while the “D” and “F” states voted for Trump. This indicates the degree to which the conservative consituency distrusts the MSM and large corporate advertising lines.
I leave my phone on the counter at home most of the time. I could be practicing Volkswagen-stuffing with 40 of my closest friends, and the social engineers would never know!
A few weeks back on Live PD, a somewhat hysterical deputy here in Richland county was yelling at some guy to go back in his room.
She was yelling about everybody dying.
I will cut some slack since she lost a family member a little earlier.
Pretty sure its the Low Country of South Carolina they are talking about. You might want to spend a week or so there before buying a house. Its got interesting history. Visit Magnolia Plantation.
I give Unacast an “F”. It’s probably a SJW-run “business” getting grant money to help determine who is and who isn’t a good comrade...
