60 Starlink satellites that were launched by SpaceX last Wednesday will be passing over Utah Sunday night.
The set of satellites are jokingly referred to as a train, beginning with Starlink 1322, which will rise in the northwest at about 9:35 and under the bucket of the Big Dipper just before 9:39.
The other 59 cars of the train including caboose Starlink 1379 will follow the same path and fade from view around 9:54.
Similarly to other satellites, the train will look like a series of tiny dots of light moving slowly across the sky.

Skynet?
Thank you for the good word on this! I live about 20 miles east of Ogden! Will check it out!
In before the UFO reports!! d:^D
Son lives in Hooper. Just called him with the info.
Only Utah? They don’t work that way.
There was already a train of about a dozen about 60 days ago. We were out walking and started counting them. Sort of an eerie sight.
That's where they'll be when they are still in the sunlight but the ground is in the dark. Earlier in the orbit the ground is sunlit too so you can't see them and later in the orbit they are in the Earth's shadow so you can't see them.
I just checked http://www.satflare.com/track.asp?q=StarLinkLaunch#LIST and it looks like it will be visible over a large section of the western US right now.
Just went over! Very cool!
BTW, Hooper is a nice city!
They are in orbit, not stationary over Utah.
