Though if the Dems stick with Biden, they have an uphill climb even if voters want Trump to be replaced. Biden will fall completely apart in a debate or any setting where he has to sound like he’s in something resembling an awake state. But should the Dems wise up and dump Biden, all bets are off.
I agree. Trump appears to be waffling instead of boldly opening up the country.
Every day we don’t open up the economy and end the madness, there is a small incremental decrease to his chances of being re-elected. We can’t know with that is, but it is there along with other factors that may increase or reduce his chances.
I would already be opening up the economy based on the clear evidence we have now that we WAY overreacted.
He needs to man up begin the opening, and lead us out of it.
He is too complacent and appears weak.
As a follow-up to this, if this were GofT, I would already be very close to taking him out and usurping the crown myself.
He has emboldened his enemies so only has himself to blame for their boldness.

But FWIW I FULLY agree. His “crisis management” has for the most part been a disaster. He’s done a few things right..but many horribly, horribly wrong (like, no national coordination on testing and PPE procurement for one..on what planet should we have the states all competing with each other to buy testing materials and PPE?)
And don’t get me started on the tweets and comments during pressers, including yesterdays on UV light and disinfecting agents. Good God, I thought that was Biden when I heard about it..was shocked to hear it was Trump that said it.
Trump vs. Biden would be a total cluster, and no telling what would happen - especially if Biden picks Michelle as VP. That’d be game over, no question and no doubt whatsoever. But I don’t think it’ll be Biden. They’re going to find a way to move him aside for Cuomo or someone else..bet on it.

And the thing is that’s where most people get their news & views. If the media says “Trump told Americans to drink bleach to stop the virus”, that’s the story that will stick, especially if there’s a video to go with it. You can have months of clarifications, but people usually still go with the “urban legend version” of such stories.
