A heartbreaking photo of an English bulldog looking longingly at the children he used to play with before the coronavirus pandemic has gone viral — with thousands of fans admitting that they can relate to his quarantine woes. Costume designer Rashida Ellis, 38, from Atlanta, Georgia, took to Twitter on Tuesday to post a snapshot of her three-year-old dog Big Poppa looking dejected while sitting on their balcony. 'Big Poppa has been so sad today, I think he miss[es] playing with the kids in the building. He just watches them from the patio,' she captioned the image, which has attracted the attention of Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams and talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres.

The dog.....is quarantined

Purrsonally, I’m a cat person.

English Bulldogs always look sad anyway, due to that smushed in muzzle and flabby skin texture.
Some folks find that feature cute. I usually don’t. French bulldogs same story. Sinus problems as they age.
Give me a Lab, Shepard, Setter, or Boarder Collie any day. Of course the general rule stands that all puppies are cute.
It might even be in the Constitution!
I’m with you. I don’t find it cute but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. However, I do find it plausible that the dog yearns to go play with the kids. Bulldog breeders have successfully turned the breed into playful snuggle bunnies which I think is a good thing.
You want me to read the actual story and not just react to the headline? That's not the Freeper way.
Bull dogs are really sweet little guys.
Friend of mine had a bulldog named FROG..He was so ugly he used to scare children...Buuuuuuut sweetheart of a dog.....
