Good song. Here's another good one.
Dance With Me
Hey I remember those songs. I was just a kid but I liked them :-) I’m going to add them to my Amazon music now
“Dance With Me” was a favorite song for my 1st hubby and I-one of his friends from college was the new band director at the HS they both graduated from-he had a band that played at a bar his uncle owned to make extra money-hubby and I went to that bar a lot to hear them play-they were a very good band-played everything from current rock to folk music and Dylan stuff-as soon as we came in the door and ordered a drink, hubby would request “Dance With Me”-many happy times...
Dance with me...6 feet apart. :)
Dance with Me is such a beautifully simple song.
THe majority of the music I listen to is from the 70’s. Usually R&B or top 40.
Been listening to Leonid and Friends all night. Dialogue Part 1 and 2 on right now.

Orleans performed outdoors at my Alma Mater’s academic year opening weekend festivities in late August or early September, 1976.
You are the best! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
You just took me back to a Sadie Hopkins dance in 1976.
My “asked” date was secretly the love of my life. The night was perfect. We danced almost every song. I was floating on clouds.
We dated until college.
Meant “Sadie Hawkins” dance.

“Love To Love You Baby” was number three.
I think this was the first of hearing “disco” music during that time. What about you?
Great list!

Texas Flood.
Stevie Ray Vaughan could make a single guitar sound like two. He was something special on that instrument.
JAM Creative Productions in Dallas created memorable season promos for ABC TV in the late 70’s based on this song. It’s a great song but heartbreaking to see how many wonderful actors were on TV then, and who are no longer with us:
