I would have preferred a Glock 21 in .45, because 45.
I like it. If I was looking for a 9, I’d consider this.
Just buy American made ammo and put it in an American made holster. I want.
I’m actually looking at a 43X once the craziness settles down and prices are back to normal. It will be my first 9mm. I’ve always resisted getting a 9mm due to the ammo, but there’s lots of good 9mm ammo out there today for defensive needs.
Yes, I was going to say that except a model 36 might be my choice.
OTOH the model 21 would be more politically incorrect so that’s a plus.
The choice of the model 19 has got to be in deference to the 9mm being where it’s at these days...
I went to my local Rural King store on Saturday. The Gun Department was wiped out. I was talking to the Manager - he said they have never been so busy.
I’ll find the money. 8>)
I will gladly challenge anyone with one of those to a shooting competition and I’ll use my East German Makarov converted to .380 which also has a threaded barrel. Let’s see which gun will shoot more accurately. :)
Yup, just got the email today and thought the same-—if it were a .45 I’d be all over it-—9MM-—Meh, I don’t need another 9
FReepmail me if you want to be added to or deleted from the list.

$900? bite me!
The Glocks, for as fine of a weapon as they are, just never fit my hand quite right. The best feeling 9mm I’ve tried was the Walther P99. The grip was superb. If I get another I’m looking at the Walther PPQ M1.
Gosh I miss my EG Makarov.
Only if you've owned one do you know what I'm talking about. :)
Hey, the KGB used the makarov for 65 years.
How bad could it be? :)
paid $250 for mine with 2 mags.
The Bulgarian ones are pretty nice, paid $150 for that.
Mak fan
You got a good deal on that. About the same here for the EG. Bought the Russian one which is also very nice for far less. NFS on both of them.
hey, its a GREAT design!
