Moving to assist communities of color ravaged by the coronavirus pandemic, the NFL, through its Inspire Change platform, and the Players Coalition will donate more than $3 million for seven of the United States' most significantly impacted markets.
Health systems, hospitals and nonprofit organizations in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit and Washington -- among the hardest-hit cities -- will receive the funds, along with the states of Florida and Louisiana.

How is a “black community” defined? There’s a lot of black people right around the corner from me. My zip code has a significant amount of blacks. Are they going to come around and somehow check the color of everyone’s skin?

that is another thing, this isn’t something that is targeting black people more than anyone else, where is there support for hospitals and such and white people losing their jobs and businesses? Most of those blacks in places like DC and Detroit already on some government help and don’t work.
Now I am back to “Die NFL die”.
Seems like a pretty paltry sum for the NFL and a group of multi-millionaire players.
Don’t help them with coronavirus - help them with morbid obesity, diabetes, hypertension and hyper violent behaviors. The chronic factors.
Could someone SUE the NFL for racial discrimination? Only black communities, not WHITE COMMUNITIES! Let’s see them...
I wonder how many of these players marry someone from the inner city, raise children and build better communities through the multi-millions of dollars they have earned. If the overwhelming amount of players from such areas did that, I would imagine the large issues such as no running water as pointed out in this article would be eradicated. Build schools. Be strong father figures. Work together and clean up the mess. It would also help to stop voting Democrat.
