He'll have to know Nacho set him up.
Taking on the assassins single-handed.
5 minutes remaining.
Jimmy tries to talk her out of it, but like her mom said in the flashback: "You don't listen!"
Lalo knows--everything. And everyone will believe he's dead. Season 5 ends with him stepping over the bodies of his family, heading north to confront Nacho and Gus.
Kim breaks bad.
Kim is off the rails, too far gone mentally for redemption. Wouldn't want to be Howard either.
Classic sociopath!

Something I didn't pick up on last night ... Jimmy and Kim's final scene of Season 5 is a mirror image of their final scene in Season 4.
We saw the exact opposite of this. Kim turned around on her left side, did the pew-pew thing with her fingers, and kept walking. The camera pulled away from a stunned Jimmy.
Maybe Kim Wexler did die last night ... only not in the way we expected.
“Kim is off the rails, too far gone mentally for redemption. Wouldn’t want to be Howard either.”
Until this episode Kim turned a blind eye to Jimmy’s unethical scum-baggery. Now she wants to embrace and even initiate it. Her planned attack on Howard is just mean and spiteful since he hasn’t done anything to deserve it. She used to be a likable character, now she is not.
I've been expecting that too, but maybe she doesn't die. Maybe the point of all those shopping mall flash-forwards is that one day she turns up at his Cinnabon quite by chance and he realizes that she didn't die after all.
Absolutely.
They hint that we may get more Kim flashbacks in the next season to explain this shift.
It seemed sudden, but they've been planting these seeds throughout the series. In her very first scene, she's standing in the shadows, smoking a cigarette, like a femme fatale in an old movie.
[Looking at this again ... What a great image!]
We didn't know what to make of her at first. With her looks and career path, Kim could clearly do better than Jimmy McGill. Why was she hanging around with this loser? But in five seasons, there's never been a hint that she's interested in anyone else.
Jimmy and Kim definitely love each other, but there's something more to their relationship for Kim.
I’d take that present in a heartbeat — the guy, not the car.
“Kim hatches a plan to sabotage Howard and the Sand Piper case. Completely throwing her ethics away.”
Kim has always had a thrill-seeking, law-breaking streak in her from back when she was “Giselle”. She should end up being the one driving the train instead of Jimmy.
I don’t know why she and Jimmy are so intent on screwing with Howard. He’s super weird, but basically has been kind to both of them over the years. The times it seemed like Howard was turning on Jimmy, turned out Chuck was behind it. Maybe it’s just the Sandpiper money, and not personal. (Although with Jimmy, the Howard thing seems personal.)
“Kim’s confrontation with Lalo was the highlight of the season for me.”
Absolutely. She deserves an Emmy nomination for that episode.
That is such a great image. The cinematography on BCS is just stunning. No other show can touch it.
Like Mike said to Jimmy
I heard enough to know She saved your @$$
Emmy? I agree. Of course but her character isnt gay or an unwed mother or a Marxist or all of the above so....she probably wont get one.
Looking ahead I suspect that the final episode in season 6 will be all about Gene.
Surprising twist that has Kim plannning to go against Howard to ruin his career if necessary to obtain the settlement for the old folks home plaintiffs-—with she and her Jimmy getting $2 million out of the deal.
Even Jimmy feels Kim would be going to far and tries to talk her out of it. Maybe she does the deal herself and runs off with the money as she turns to the dark side.???
