Trump’s not making them do/be anything. He’s just plainly pointed out who they are. We all knew it, we all saw it. Our complicit political class just pretended like it didn’t exist unless they wanted to raise campaign funds. Trump’s not playing their game, and it drives them crazy.

I noticed when this thing was first getting fired up I was shocked how many titles I was reading in FR had the word “terrifying” in them. And I’m with Bill on this. It was public manipulation. This may be why, right from the beginning, I assumed this was just another nothingburger.
Interestingly, I was right, but at that time it was only based on my gut.
