This has been happening in many places in the world recently.
GMA showed clips of a Kangaroo hopping through some place in Australia down a city street. Then three penguins going for a stroll down some city street in South Africa.

It is similar to the wildlife & forest that has taken over the Chernobyl zone in the Ukraine(brown bears, wolves, etc)

Haifa is a gritty working class neighborhood just south of the much more Jewish Tel Aviv. Haifa has Muslims, illegal alien blacks from Africa most of whom are Muslims, Jews too!

I ate a great street level Falafel as we drove though in the mid 1990s. All the trimmings were 15 ft away, out on display, from the passing traffic.
