I had forgotten what is going on in western China, with the fulltime installment of Chinese Communist officials (hundred thousand plus) into the homes of Islamic families. In reading your homepage, I get more insight into your question. You seem to truly value marriage in the way God intended. Islam does not.
While mask-wearing is temporary (and supposedly for health reasons), it is disconcerting that in some religions it is accepted as norm for a woman’s face to be covered. I have always felt this practice a very odd message: Islam men are weak and unable to control themselves. One would think Islam men would want to be regarded as strong and able to withstand anything, be it temptation or torture. Guess not. I like my men strong :).
