I have a modest proposal (remember Jonathan Swift?): Why doesn’t everyone who is till frightened about genuine social activity stay the f***k home and let the rest of us rebuild on the remnants of civil society in the US. Cower in fear with your high speed internet, Netflix and food delivery services. Hope that your income is not interrupted and that someone actually produces what you need to stay alive, healthy and sane. The biggest problem with Corona-cowards is that they demand that everyone join them in their self-created prisons. Sorry about the rant (not really).

I nominate you as a member of PDJT’s Task Force. Yours is a seriously logical solution to the RAT-created problem.

That is what is the strangest thing of all now. Fear is considered a social virtue. Nextdoor (the community bulletin board app, usually used for things like asking for a good handyman or giving away kittens) is full of prissy liberals ratting on people who are violating the ever increasing requirements of fear. “I saw 6 people bicycling together....the police should know about this...” It’s insane.

A couple of days ago our beaches opened up again, to the horror of the fear contingent. Some news sources used a photo of hundreds of people on the beach, not “social distancing,” to criticize our governor for allowing the beaches open. Of course, today it emerges that this was a file photo taken sometime before this, and they knew that perfectly well.

The more liberal they are, the more fear they seem to feel and the more they want to impose this on others. Also, they have total contempt for those who Want to get on with life, and now I am seeing sneering comments that “the right wing protesters just want to get back to [name the lower end dining spot of your choice] and Trump rallies. “ The NYT openly called the protesters “right wing” in a headline. So this has taken on a political dimension that is insane and a genuine threat to our liberties.

Because those who are afraid are afraid of your freedom and choice. They hide behind your need to be controlled as they are not freedom loving. The free market will sort this out brutal efficiency. If I open my bar which is crowded and no one shows I have my answer. If I open my bar and everyone shows I have my answer as to the general feeling of risk within my locality.

Right now our freedom is taken away. We can’t exercise their choice. But those who want our freedoms taken in the situation where they have a choice would be free to self isolate and remain at home.

The point is they wish to control us and do not love liberty or freedom and think they no better and those of us who disagree need authoritian control over our lives.

It’s despicable

It shows that when the right button is pushed, even “conservatives” become control freak liberals. Where have we heard the Fearpers argument before? I’m afraid of guns, so you shouldn’t have one. I’m afraid of global warming, so you shouldn’t have a car. I’m afraid of this years virus, so you should give up your freedom...
