Recently, and not for the first time, the comedian’s public persona has appeared to be at odds with her private actions
Ellen wants everyone to ‘be kind’ – maybe she should rethink what that means
“Be kind” Ellen DeGeneres says at the end of every episode of her eponymous show. There’s a BE KIND Ellen hat. A BE KIND wine tote. A BE KIND subscription box. There are even BE KIND face masks – so you can try killing the coronavirus with kindness.
Shockingly, it seems that DeGeneres might not always practice what she preaches: crew members on her talkshow are reportedly furious over the not-so-kind way they’ve been treated during the coronavirus crisis. According to Variety, the core stage crew for the Ellen DeGeneres Show are frustrated that they haven’t received written communication about the status of their hours or pay. They were also less than thrilled to discover, via social media, that an outside, non-union, tech company had been hired to help DeGeneres film her show remotely from her home. This stung as DeGeneres had recently announced on-air that she wanted to start filming again as soon as possible so she could support her staff and crew.
DeGeneres isn’t personally responsible for every aspect of how her show is run, of course. But it certainly seems like a woman who is reportedly worth more than $330m and is one of the highest-paid stars on television, earning more than $50m a year, could be doing rather more to support the people who work under her. Particularly as many of her crew have worked on the show since it started 17 years ago. It’s worth noting that Jimmy Kimmel Live! stagehands, according to Variety, were paid from Kimmel’s own pocket during initial coronavirus shutdowns.

Probably many other stores but that’s where I find it.

I’ve never liked her. I’ve always thought she’s as phony as the day is long. Just a real liberal fruitcake, the kind of person I don’t waste my time on.

She is a pedovore. Just like many others. Her background of her TV show was the Satan temple on Jeff Epstein island.
“Be kind”? Really??? Just like the morons he/she/it promotes? Who would put people in jail for walking down the street? Who releases criminals to prey on the same people that those she supports has disarmed? The same “kind” people who deny an innocent his or her life because they are seen as “invalid” before they are allowed to gasp their first breath? The same “kindness” that would invalidate my voice with that of some criminal who has no legal right to be here, let alone casting a vote? Fk her and her “kindness”....it has no place here!

I have NEVER understood the appeal of this woman. She isn’t funny, she can’t act worth a damn and she’s down right homey looking.

I worked in the professional environment with several “out” lesbians over the years. They were filled with hatred and difficult to work with, across the board. The ones I actually worked with on a daily basis played politics in such a way to damage other people. My general impression is that these are not nice people.

I honestly haven’t seen a lot of female comedians who really make me laugh, though there are some: Phyllis Diller, Lucille Ball, Gilda Radner, and a few more, but for most, their humor simply does not resonate with me.
I have never watched more than five seconds of a time of Ellen Degeneres. Her lifestyle is her own business, but if she wants to make it my business, I have no use for her.

Ellen is a rank hypocrite. I guess “kindness” is okay when it’s convenient to her, but remember that gospel singer Burrell who got blacklisted from her show because she said something again the “gay” in a sermon?
I’m not a fan of her show, either.
It’s just interesting how the media turned on her after she called GWB a friend.
