Its just the flu, bro.
Its time for the tyranny to end. Let free people do as they please. Politicians need help/pressure so that they know what to do. They are a bunch of sheep and cowards. Really impressed with the protests we are seeing...I hope it makes a difference. I pictured protesting to be more the passion of the left but if you keep productive people from working they find the time to protest too. These protesters are helping us.
The numbers are full of lies - follow the money.
No, but if I get bored with retirement, I would consider applying for work there.
Sorry...must have been another female poster...
Oh so you are saying we'll have another 2.5 million deaths this year because of this virus? Ok.
Well, I have worked in areas related to public health throughout my career. So I can see where someone might think I had worked for CDC.
Please read carefully. I try to make very clear the difference between what would happen if we do not quarantine, and what is actually happening because of the quarantine.
In any risk assessment, we always consider the risk without mitigation versus the risk with mitigation.
One, you do not understand the economic downside and the inevitable effect on our politics. Your post reflected wishful thinking.
Two, whatever credibility 'experts' had for forecasting is gone. We've seen how the sausage is made, and we're not buying it.
Exhibit A:
Alex Salvi @alexsalvinews
Dr. Birx confirms anyone who died with COVID-19, regardless of other health issues, is being counted as a COVID19 death.

Well, I also have a takeaway.
You did not actually read my post, so do not understand that I actually do consider the economic impact. But that is not my area of expertise; I leave that analysis to people who do have that expertise.
Economic impact of temporarily imposing a quarantine vs. impact of millions of deaths and illnesses throwing the economy into chaos. The cost of letting the virus spread uncontrolled is far worse, but you don't understand that.
So are you suggesting that we shut the entire economy down every time we have an influenza hit the country???
Good collection.
