Yes, Perry Mason! That theme was reworked and rerecorded when Raymond Burr agreed to do a series of TV movies — it’s even better than you remember. Also, the Blues Brothers had a wonderful version — with lyrics! “Della is the secretary; Drake sits on her desk with Perry.”

Central Florida Channel 2 news in the early 70s.
They used the Traffic tune Glad, from the John Barleycorn Must Die LP as their lead in.
