Yes. I think that’s what’s behind the thinking of closing state parks, public golf courses and other line venues.

Rep. Lance Gooden introduced something called the Stop COVID Act to that effect.

Yes there will be full employment for litigators until kingdom come!

The most interesting case will be if the global community can sack up and go after the main culprit, the PRC.

I’d like to see the Trump justice department empanel grand juries and indict public officials like Gretchen Whitmer, Gov. Beshear and infanticidal quack Ralph Northam (just to name three; there are many more) for violating the civil rights of citizens under color of state law.

Imagine the first legal actions we’ll see will be liberal judges forcing the shutdown to continue.

Realistically, sovreign immunity and national emergency will limit lawsuits. As for China, economic “don’t get mad, get even” is in order.

America at large won’t do much, if anything.

You know damn well left-wing judges will try to force states to use US Postal Service to handle all the ballots in November.

Just think of the effect on the economy if Trump would try to pass a law placing the liability for coronavirus onto China. It could be a singular campaign issue for him and a winner. China did this to us. It did this to the whole world. Take their foreign holdings as collateral if they don’t respond

I figure China owes the USA $2T minimum. They owe the rest of the world a lot more. It should wipe out a lot of debt owed to China at this point.

It should reshape how business is done in China and how much factory work is done there too but only if the USA has a spine. We know the President does but what about Congress? I’m not so sure and of course private businesses need to make those decisions on their own. Let’s hope they choose wisely. Especially Pharma and electronic companies.
