If they all died we’d know, without a doubt and it wouldn’t be anecdotal!

The study might end after 7 days (patient participation) but you can bet your bottom dollar analysis will take many months, if not years.
Bet on it!

Dr. Oz was running a controlled study on HCQ in New York and Raggedy Andy Cuomo ordered the study halted. Dr. Oz was really pissed off.

“ALBANY, Ga. (WTVM) - 1,400 patients have tested positive in Albany at one local hospital, but the good news is out of that number, nearly a fourth of them have completely recovered.

According to doctors at Phoebe Putney Health System, medical professionals attribute two drugs to help aid in the recovery process – azithromycin and hydroxychloroquine.

That was a long time ago. Like 10 days.

You won’t hear anything for a couple of months.

Does anyone know the results, if any, of the hydroxychloroquine study that NY conducted? The last I heard was that NY was going to administer hydroxychloroquine to a test group of 1100.

Last week Dr. Oz said he couldn’t find anything on the study. Seems it’s mostly hot air to delay and cause more deaths and generally prevent doctors from prescribing early in-home treatment of patients.

I posted earlier on another thread that I suspect the Trump Pills worked, and that’s why the numbers suddenly and drastically dropped. That’s why the high number of ventilators weren’t needed, and why the Javitz Centre and the hospital ship are near empty. I doubt they’ll admit it, but it seems rather a large coincidence to me.

NY had doses for 4000 patients. "The University of Albany’s School of Public Health is observing the drug’s impact on the patients, and its preliminary study could come back in weeks instead of the usual months, officials said."

Trial is still going on at NYU...don't know any of these are the same trial of which you speak.

https://nypost.com/2020/04/05/ny-coronavirus-patients-being-treated-with-anti-malarial-drug/

In terms of the NYU clinical trial regarding prevention, researchers are enrolling 2,000 adult volunteers at six sites.

They are recruiting people who lack any COVID-19 symptoms but have been in close contact with others who have a confirmed or pending diagnosis.

On a random basis, the trial participants will receive either hydroxychloroquine or a placebo pill — vitamin C — every day for two weeks.

Each day during the 14-day period and then again on Day 28, the participants will swab their nasal passages and send the samples to researchers to detect potential COVID-19 infection.

“If everything goes as planned, the eight-week trial could provide answers by summer on whether a preventive dose of the drug is safe and effective,’’ NYU Langone said in a release.

I see that they gave 450mg doses to a group of patients and 2 of them died from complications. Why start with such a high dose? My wife has been taking this stuff for Lupus for the past 35 years. She takes 250mg.
