I think we would be good with 3 or 4 days even.

I can’t force mommy at 87 to change her ways so we need it for at least some time more.

Better check with Bezos, the most significant thing the USPS does now is delivering Amazon. The last two Christmas seasons Bezos had our mail carriers working seven days a week. Of course if Amazon paid the rates you or I do, the PO would be in better shape.

USPS is a BAD JOKE. Example: I am waiting for parcel with face shields from Amazon. Shipped via USPS, reported in a USPS facility in Flushing (Queens) NY at 6 AM on 4/5, last into a Queens Distribution Center 8 PM 4/10. I am in Pittsburgh.

Easy way to cut USPS costs. Half residential delivery staff, deliver every other day. NO ONE needs daily residential service.
