About 95 percent of the US is currently on some form of lockdown after President Donald Trump issued guidelines that called for 30 days of measures to slow the spread of the virus.
The government projections, obtained by the New York Times, indicate that lifting the strict social distancing measures now in place will see a second wave surge in infections and deaths in about June and July.

Okay, I’m going to say it and let the hammers fly. Of course, lifting the restrictions is going to cause more cases to develop (1=more).
But prevention of every single case isn’t why we were told the world had to stop. We were told we had to become virtual prisoners and embrace economic disaster because our healthcare system would be overwhelmed if we didn’t.
Our emotions are being manipulated with every case a plague and every death a tragedy. The goal is being shifted to being able to successfully prevent or cure every case. Clearer heads must prevail with our only question being if our hospitals can handle the cases we have.
These predictions don’t have much value until they include results of antibody testing.
Maryland went from projecting almost 4000 dead to 598.
Zero death day is down to May 10.
Top of the curve is now April 16.
But Hogan is never going to let us go free.

Fauci, an ugly little gnome just like Hitler’s club footed henchman and chief propagandist Goebbels was, is an incredibly dangerous man with fascist propensities who is on a major power trip and acts as if he is the decision maker for our Country.
Trump must work around him, and as has been stated before, work around Fauci by bringing forth more new members to his team that espouse viewpoints in opposition to Dr. Fauci. We all know the MSM will crucify Trump if he cans Fauci (which should happen), so he must bypass this arrogant, pompous ass and get other opinions out there. Get 3 or 4 at least opposing and highly credentialed doctors out in front at these daily press hearings and inundate the viewing audience with the actual facts of this virus, like the meds that actually help cure those afflicted by the virus. And those Docs that also can actually think outside of their professional boxes and speak to the effects of an economy in ruins, and the attendant health problems that would occur because of it.
Do this daily, let the MSM howl; to h*ll with them; this is indeed war, a war of conflicting ideologies, and if the socialists win with their hate America, socialist/pinko/communist/Dem/fascist mindsets win out, our freedom loving America as we know it is doomed way beyond the passing of this coronavirus.
But freepers said it best in another thread: The best thing to do is lift the federal restrictions and let governors own the victory. Or the blame.
