A resolutionFile No. 200349before the supervisors begins: Resolution urging county health officials from the six Bay Area counties, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara to evaluate the public health threat of panic buying weapons and to warn Americans of the danger of panic buying weapons.
A summary of the resolution states, Urging County Health Officials to Assess Public Health Impacts from Panic Buying Weapons.
The text of the resolution is full of claims such as, Multiple studies have concluded that where there are more guns, there are more gun deaths and more guns do not stop more crimes and More guns in homes during these precarious times compounds the risks of death and serious injury likely to further increase our hospital loads. No links to the multiple studies or other means of substantiation of the claims are included in the body of resolution.
Ironically, the resolution also suggests that the panic buying of guns and ammunition is NRA induced. Yet here again, they offer no substantiation of the claim.

The only “health risks” are to thieves and tyrants.
They have been amply warned.
Obviously, the people have identified the dangers that threaten them--and the means of protecting themselves and their families from those dangers.
The hare-brained ideas that have ruined the once-Golden State failed.
The people who promoted those ideas are not trusted.
Never aim a gun at anyone unless you intend to kill him.
The public are waking up in ever increasing numbers.
They are afraid militia groups will form.
Do you believe that is good advise for police officers?
I have never bought a gun while panicking. I have bought more than one gun. But not whilst in a panic.
When the resolution is based on a falsehood its conclusion is bound to be faulty.
This woman is one of my favourites--ever. She was beautiful. The beauty came from within. She radiated wisdom.
I will never forget her. I learned an enormous amount from her.
As might be expected, she became extremely wealthy.
It was delightful to be with her.
Once, while stopped at a stop light, a gang of young men tried to highjack her car. She retrieved a pistol from under the drivers' seat and aimed it at them. They left her alone.
She was legendary. Not hotheaded--very cool in temperament. Very fair-minded. Equally at home in designer evening gowns or hunting attire. Independent in her thinking. Self-reliant. Funny. Bright. Comfortable in any situation and among any people.
I once said to her, if Queen Elizabeth--or anyone else--dropped in unannounced, it wouldn't matter to you. She replied: "I'd say, Elizabeth, come on in."
Maybe not.
"Do you believe that is good advise for police officers?"
That's what I have taught my children.
I suppose that pointing a gun at a home intruder would be based on an intent to kill the intruder.
A policeman's pointing a gun at a subject might be a qualified intent to kill him/her, i.e. if he/she does not comply.
Certainly one should never point a gun at anyone who is not a threat. The intent to kill implies that there is a threat.
What do you think?
I don’t think he thinks.
Did these supervisors pass a resolution to clean up human waste deposited on the streets or says jail the criminals instead of letting out of jail?
Nope. They side with the criminals.
Using deadly force is complex.
No one answer is always correct.
Never point a firearm at something you are not willing to destroy.
I was checking responses before I posted that very same thing. You win the internets.
“We need another Australia type continent to send them all to.”
AMEN! But I think Europe, Africa, or Asia would work.

This is an actual health threat
“Health threat”????
To their health, maybe, if they keep up their commie bullsh*t.
Its every American’s right to resist, err, protect themselves from an enemy.
Just sayin, all kindasorta like....
We are under ZERO obligation to obey or comply with anything these people decree.
They wanted “#Resist” after all.... they’re going to GET “#Resist”.
