Bullcrap. There are suddenly people everywhere telling us how deadly this 60 year old drug is. This is just anti-Trump resistance.
"In a small number of patients."
Orange Man Bad!
Got to applaud the lamestream medias ongoing attempt to downplay chloroquine, gg. /s
prolonged QT syndrome is rare: and caused by other drugs. one reason not to give it to mild cases, but for moderate to severe cases, just do a quick ekg and measure the 1t segment.
it was widely used in World War II since it was more effective than atabrine and didn’t have the side effects of quinine.

I mean, it’s not like its’ a brand new drug.
Wow! One patient?
Anecdotal
World wide effort to “can” any drug that may be of help to keep this thing going, despicable
with some patients having to stop treatment because of the risk posed.

Like every drug in the world, some people cannot take it.
And guess what, it is stopped when the person cannot tolerate it.
And they are using EKGs to identify the people who cannot tolerate it.
None of this is remarkable.
Newsweak (sigh). There are always folks who have side effects to all drugs... not surprising that you find people who have a negative reaction to a drug... but 1 patient does not a noteworthy event make... unless of course its a study using a drug that orange man bad mentioned then anything negative found associated with it is the most newsworthy thing that has ever happened in thr history of medicine.

My sister has been taking that drug for years for Lupus. She just quit taking it in January. She still has a bunch of it in case any of us come down with covid. But back to my point, the drug is dangerous if you take it long term but to take it for 5 days not so much.
As I suspected, the age and underlying medical conditions were no where to be found.
MUST WATCH VIDEO!
Dr. Zelenko update! Inspiring! Watch the WHOLE THING! Full of nuggets spread throughout. Also Dr. Karladine Graves with additional info and perspective.
Why didn’t this post start with “Newsweek: “
That way we’d have known skimming that this was BS.
OFFS ... one patient. I thought it was a whyile bunch. Even Cuomo said they are giving the drug combo but not to all due to complications. But, for the most part it seems pretty safe if given under a doctor’s care and had worked.
Maybe in such cases, the virus is already attacking the heart, leaving it vulnerable to the effects of that blocked rhythm pathway.
R-on-T Vtach and can trip into vfib. The QT prolongs and interferes with the next “P” causing early depolarization of the next “Beat cycle”...there can be a whole following cascade of faster and faster early depolarizations that trip the heart into vatch. The heart has to be shocked back into rhythm and meds given to control the arrhythmia from occurring again...amiodarone or lidocaine.
A TITLE IN ALL CAPS. Must be impotent.
