As promised, ping.
He might as well. Good chance the left will attempt to outlaw the sport, among other things.
They have to stop putting those trees in the middle of the fairway!
My group golfs 4-5 times a week during this time! Golfers all over hell-and-gone!

Alice is famous for saying the only way he beat his addiction to alcohol is God, and swapping it for an addiction to golf. He has a handicap of 4 and his routine is to play 6 days a week.
They have to stop putting those trees in the middle of the fairway!

I hear you. I hate it when they do that. ;-)
And they want people out doing something
Yeah “they”. Getting sick of “they”.
Confidence my good man!
The canopy is 95% air when the breeze is blowing.
(At least, that’s what I’ve heard)
Tied for second.
Here in Michigan the courses are closed and the two communities where we would normally get a few guys together and hit softballs have closed their parks to walkers and bicyclists only........
Two Saturdays ago the governor of NH shut down all golf courses in the state. That particular day was clear and beautiful. The courses were typically full, as they would be after the first nice day post winter. The local Facebook page was full of stupid harpy women calling for these people to get off the course, etc. That they were being selfish. It was dangerous.
My thought was: what is the difference between being out on a golf course or walking on the sidewalk, hiking trails, or other outdoor activities. I thought the governor should have said that courses could remain open, but no riding together in carts. Everybody has to walk. Problem solved.
My other thought was that the reason these harpy women’s husbands or significant others were on the course is so they could get away from then for 4-5 hours on a nice day. That alone has to do wonders for their mental health.
Have you seen any recent pictures of Steven Tyler. He looks like an old queen.
Not to mention...it’s a dry heat.
Plenty of busybody types have come out of the woodwork.
No enjoyment except for approved activities.
Here in Massachusetts all gun stores and shooting ranges are closed. Our AG said we cant risk police/first-responders and domestic violence victims by leaving shooting ranges open(!). So my private club, that I pay handsomely to be a part of, is closed. That series of empty fields in the middle of the woods was definitely a breeding ground for Corona virus.
“Alice” was a close neighbor, friend and golfing buddy with the late great Glen Campbell.
