Most believe Drudge sold the site, but no one is certain what organization bought it.
Basically he sold out to big tech in the name of Google.

I used to check Drudge several times a day. I haven’t been there for a couple of months and i don’t plan to go back.
Drudge Report is gone. It’s a different site now. I hate that Rush still uses it as his #1 source for his show
Sadly... Matt has contributed to a lot of the mass hysteria which has resulted in the erosion of civil liberties and the near implementation of martial law in the United States, and in several other formerly freedom loving societies.
Remember just a week or two ago... Wearing mask is bad... Now... Wearing mask is good. They appear to be jumping from conclusion to conclusion based on nonsense... It’s like watching 20 years of global warming statistical shenanigans packed into a month of press releases.

It’s amazing how they preach doomsday. During the first week of quarantine, I tried to get as much information as possible, and after reading Drudge I almost believed the end was near. Drudge is a terrible site, Joseph Goebbels is in charge.
It’s ironic because I discovered FR back in 1997 when Tony Snow first mentioned the Kathleen Wiley grope incident in his syndicated column. Tony said in the column that The Drudge Report broke the story, and I saw that it was a resource for links to other conservative sites. FR was on the list. It was called “The Whitewater Page” back then.
