The View co-host Meghan McCain said on Monday that White House coronavirus press conferences should be aired but not because she is a fan of the daily briefings.
Many members of the mainstream media have called for President Trumps daily press conferences to be silenced or banned, with some critics comparing them to campaign rallies and others accusing the president of spreading misinformation. But McCain thinks the American people need to see what Trump has to say for the sake of transparency so that he cant use peoples fears to his benefit.
My argument for keeping the press conferences is, I think were at a place where President Trump, he has always been, a sort of totalitarian president in a way we have never historically seen before, McCain said.
My fear is hes going to play on the American publics fears in a draconian way, and possibly do this akin to the Patriot Act going forward, where he uses this moment in time to play off our fears for his own benefit, McCain added. I think seeing front and center what him and his team I for one, became even more fearful of what was happening when I saw how inept Jared Kushner was.

Rule of thumb.
The Swamp will always accuse their enemies of thinking and acting like they do.
I thought she was at the 510th day of her father’s state funeral.
She opened her mouth and her father came out. I’m surprised she doesn’t drag him around with her so people can remember why anybody knows her name in the first place.
Dear Megaton McCain, its not like hes your father.
She’s almost always way off and wrong. Her husband writes some good stuff at The Federalist. I think it was Rush who read an article of his last week.
Title was inaccurate, so I fixed it for you.
Agreed - In spades.
Or in her case, kinda fat.
Imagine what she will look like with another 2 weeks of stay home and ravage thefridge
Like Sherman.
Or, the Globalist Patriot Act after 911!
She is definitely John McCain’s daughter. What a twit!
