WOW. Condolences to family and friends of Honor Blackman. R.I.P., love.
It’s hard to believe Goldfinger was made in ‘64. Blackman was a good looking 39-years old when this film was made. Teenage boys thought she was hot.
Pelosi didn’t have surgery; she fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
Alotta Fagina, however,is as healthy as can be.
My first theater Bond film was DAF in 71, I was about 10. Only saw Goldfinger on TV afterwards. So Plenty O’toole was my first Bond hottie. ;)
GOLDFINGER had a HUGE impact on the tv and film industry. Much like Tom Clancey’s HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER really started the written techno thriller genre.
PS look up Dame Shirley Bassey belting out GOLDFINGER in 2013.
Best scene in Goldfinger is when Bond counterthrows PG and she lands on her @zz in the hay.
After which 007 is on her like white on rice and, uh, “persuades” her to join the good guys.
A long life to a lovely lady but still she is now missed.
There was an episode of The Avengers. Steed gets a post card from Cathy Gale. “What’s she doing in Fort Knox?” he asks.

George Lazenby just turned 80. In OHMSS, he beats up the bad guys, saves the girl (Diana Rigg) then she steals his car.
Bond observes, “This never happened to that other fellow!”
