She was also in one of the better episodes of Columbo "Dagger of the Mind" from 1973.

So many bad actresses in those roles. Denise Richards stands out (okay, very easy on the eye but...), Britt Ekland, a miscast Carey Lowell, and ... Halle Berry. But, I also really liked Sophie Marceau, even though she turned out to be a baddie.

I liked Maud Adams in Octopussy (she was also in The Man With The Golden Gun).

Got my teenagers to watch old, 1970’s Columbo a few years back. They loved it!

Amazing. I have loved the Bond series for years and concur in all the bad Bond girl choices. I would add Lynn-Holly Johnson who played the underaged Skater in For Your Eyes Only, a terrible idea and possibly the most miscast actress I’ve ever seen in a Bond movie. But I also thought Honor Blackmon was the best as Pussy Galore, a mix of toughness, beauty, smarts and a code of honor. I would also put on my top ten of Bond girls Daniela Bianchi from Russia with Love (although she didn’t speak a word of English); Mie Hara in You Only Live Twice; Maryam D’Abo in The Living Daylights; and the incomparable Ursula Andress in Dr. No who didn’t speak a word of dialogue and didn’t need to!

My favorite Bond girl of all time, with a name that would never be possible in today’s PC culture. RIP dear... we loved you...

“Ursula Andress in Dr. No who didn’t speak a word of dialogue and didn’t need to!”

She had dialogue. Although it was Nikki van der Zyl a German-born, Rada-trained actress, who voiced it for a £25 recording fee.
