The numbers are cooked. There, I said it!
Same problem with Sarasota Memorial hospital. They canceled all elective surgeries. 836 beds, 34 COVID19 patients, five have died. Hospital is losing $16 million and is now furloughing staff.
Yesterday I drove by El Camino Hospital Mountain View, Los Gatos Hospital, Oconner, Alexian, Good Samaritan, Washington and Fremont Hospital, Sutter, Rose Hospital and more.
I’m in sales and we provide essential services to businesses that keep employees refreshes and on premise.
Every last one of these hospitals should be busy. They always are.
However, the parking lots seem only 1/3 - 1/2 full.
That seems improbable as I usually have to look for parking at any one of these.
Are people not going to the hospital so they don’t get sick?
The circumstance we find ourselves in is not congruent with the reality that I am seeing.
The numbers are actually much higher than reported. People are dying before they even have a chance to be tested.
There, I said it!
I saw actual lines going into Lowes, Home Depot, Costco, Safeway, Target and every other grocery or hardware store.
Comfort was supposed to take on non covid patients. Many were sent home and I imagine if able many chose to go home. As to the rest they’ve likely been isolated. As far as Covid in hospitals, my friend is a surgeon with privileges st Huntington Hospital in Suffolk County. 142 of their 267 beds are covid patients. 35 in ICU..20 on ventilators. This is a suburban hospital 35 miles from midtown. Anecdotal?? Sure
Another anecdotal. My friend is on chemo for Lymphoma. His infusion center is in Columbia Presbyterian in upper Manhattan. His oncologist has postponed his infusion because of the situation at CP caused by covid.
Here’s my take:
1. The high load wouldn’t be seen in the emergency rooms or the main entranceways - it would be where people are put on ventilators, in the ICU, which, in my experience, is AWAY from the entrances.
2. We are dealing here with a virus that seems to double in cases every 72 hours or so. And it takes time for ventilators, PPE, and other equipment to be shipped, prepped, and checked for proper operation (and perhaps serviced). Therefore governors or mayors scrambling and yelling _now_ are actually being responsible, trying to stay ahead of the curve.
3. Don’t draw conclusions for another couple of weeks. Play out the old game of taking a penny, doubling that the next day, doubling _that_ value the next, etc. Before long you’re a millionaire. The base rate of the WuFlu is 3 days, perhaps with the damnable shutdown we’ve stretched it out quite a bit.

What about outside the entrance, from the driveway?
Wow! So when do I die from Covid? Tomorrow? Next week?
Same here is Upstate NY. Hospitals are practically empty.
That is sad. Hope she recovers.

Why dont you listen to what the doctors and nurses themselves are saying? My sister is a physician, and she went from being a FluBro to deeply concerned as soon as her hospital was flooded with COVID-19 patients.
In what city is your sister?
“Never thought I’d see the day when I’d get nervous about planning a trip for groceries. And booze. “
Well, sometimes I feel the same way, but that’s just because of all the hype in the media.
Truth is, even if you do get it, you’re not going to die.
Truth also is: you don’t want to get it, trust me, I got swine flu during the obama admin. Was in the hospital for a week, worst most painful headache evah.
And I had/have no pre-existing anythings.
The virus fuels crisis;fake news is fueled by crisis. Trust but verify and always consider source and agenda. The fidiots are rising to the top even on FR.
More proof of the Hoax.
Our enemies watch with glee as we walk with purpose into a depression.
“The base rate of the WuFlu is 3 days, perhaps with the damnable shutdown weve stretched it out quite a bit.”
Does ‘base rate’ mean the # of cases double every 3 days?
My hospital in NJ:
- severe shortage of nurses
- 70 coronavirus patients with 20+ added every day
- ICU full for over a week, all are COVID19 patients on ventilators
- will run out of ventilators any day
- morgue is full
The hospital is treating about 70 coronavirus patients and admits roughly 20 more each day. Like many New Jersey hospitals, Hudson Regional is also grappling with critical shortages of ventilators and personal protective gear. Supplies from the state and county have helped ease the shortages, but staff expect to run out of ventilators within the next week.
We are completely getting run down by COVID patients, Kifaieh said. Our ICU has been completely full now for over a week. Every single patient in the ICU is on a ventilator and is a COVID patient.
The hospital is also struggling to find room for deceased patients. As of yesterday morning, the facilty had seen 15 deaths this week, eight of which occurred in a single day.
The morgue situation has been a significant challenge, Kifaieh said. The hospital is working with county officials to safely manage the deceased, he said, but said that if numbers continue to rise, new solutions will be needed.
“The media to stay relevant has to try to keep everyone hysterical over this.”
No, I’m pretty sure their main objective is to keep people as hysterical as possible. This thing has produced a new level of Woke Scolds that would put Hitler’s brown shirts to shame. I’m seeing it internet-wide when anyone dare try to question Big Brother’s orders. If this goes on much longer we’re going to see people start snapping big time.
