CNN’s Brooke Baldwin announced on Friday that she has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Baldwin announced her diagnosis on Instagram, in a post which read, “I am OKAY. It came on suddenly yesterday afternoon. Chills, aches, fever. I’ve been social distancing. Doing ALL the things we’re being told to do. Still — it got me.”
“Honestly, I feel like one of the lucky ones,” Baldwin added before giving a “shout out” to the doctors and nurses on the front lines.
Before testing positive, Baldwin had covered the virus extensively on CNN’s Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin. Although the anchor will take time away from hosting, she has assured her followers that she will be back on air soon.
Baldwin’s diagnosis follows fellow CNN anchor Chris Cuomo’s, who tested positive on Tuesday and has continued to air his show from home.
Baldwin has received an outpouring of well-wishes and support for her colleagues and other members of the media since announcing her positive diagnosis.

I think NYC is in big trouble.
The subway, taxis, dense housing, tall office buildings with elevators, and crowded streets and restaurants are going to keep this thing alive for them well beyond the tine when the rest of the country has started to relax a bit.
I went there on vacation last year.
I looked up the profile of businesses there.
Most of the work done in Manhattan these days involves computer terminals (banking, insurance, etc)
It can certainly be done cheaper somewhere else.

It’s now celebrity Chic to contract Coronavirus and and give video updates about how you are “surviving” and still smiling and laughing. I’m starting to suspect a lot of fake claims, the Greta the Climate Grinch included.
She isn’t worried; plenty of HCQ in her liquor cabinet.
